Easter Weekend
This has been a pretty good weekend! Thursday we had a Maundy service. Our pastor and the leaders of the church were dressed up like they did in bible times, and they had a table set up like the last supper. Bro Brad went thru the book of Mark and told about Jesus's last days on the earth. The when had the Lords supper. The leaders of the church handed out the bread from baskets and we passed the loaves of bread and tore a piece off. It was a moving time.
We had our Easter musical last weekend. Everyone I spoke to really liked it. I enjoyed singing in it. Easter is one of my favorite times. There is something about Jesus defeating death and sin on the cross and when he rose again that is awesome.
My allergies are in full swing! isn't that great!
This is the time of year I started Chemo!! Can you belive it has been a year! If I think about it to much I get really upset. I hate to think anyone has too go thru something like that. I survived though and I know that I need to concentrate on that. Cancer is something you never forget and it doesn't go away! It is always in the back of your mind. There isn't a day that I don't think about it in some aspects. Well This is depressing. I am going to go before I get real sappy!
