VACATION!!!
Vacation starts on friday! Can you tell I am excited about it. Scott will have 2 weeks off. I am only taking 1 week. We are going to go to East Tennessee for 3 days and then Scott has a minor surgery to do on thursday and I am going to take care of him on friday thru the weekend! He should be close to normal then! Pray for him.
Sara's party went over so well. We had a 50's theme and we decorated the house in pink and black balloons. I had some cardboard cards that I but food in. My mom melted some old records and we made bowl out of them and put the chips inside. My sister Jess had a old resturant booth that we put on the deck and we had a Checkered table cloth on it and We had some Coke a cola products on the table (salt and pepper shaker, napkin holder etc...) I had a big wash tub with cokes in it (glass bottles) they thought that was so cool. We had coke floats, fruit, chips and dip, cake(Mom put a Jute box on it) and candy! We had a bubble gum blowing contest, a hoola hoop contest, and a game with questions about how well you know Sara! We had 50's music playing inside and out. "The grandpa" got a friend of his to bring over a classic car! That was so cool. The kids took their pictures with it and the guy took them for a ride. They were all dressed up so it was so neat. We had a skirt waiting there for Sara!(she has always wanted a poodle skirt.) She was so suprised and we all had fun! We had it at my friend Pams house!! Thanks Pam!! Well that is it in a nut shell.
I hope to post some pictures. I am not that good at it so I will probably get my sis to help.
Tues was Chloe's 11th birthday! We had a cake for her! Grandma made it, and we decorated the table with veggie tales in her honor! We ate dinner where she wanted (brass Lantern) and they song happy birthday! And brought her a ice cream sundae! So I think she had a good day! She is going to have a party at her mom's and we are going to eat cake on Sat. with Scott's side of the family.
Maybe we can do something really special on her 16th birthday! Whew I don't know what yet. I have a few years. :)
